Job is in Delaware and home in Maryland. When I took the job my payroll dept was taking out taxes in both states and I told them to only take taxes out DE taxes. Was this right thing to do based on my situation?

May 21st, 2010 admin I have an infant son and it’s just too crowded where I live and need a place to move preferably 2 bedrooms and not too expensive….money is hard to come by with a child if u know what I mean. I also could use a job in either one of these areas.
